Guiding has a brand New Programme

Go to the National Guiding website where you will find loads of information for parents and Leaders.

Look on the Guides page and see how Bracknell West have made a head start with the new programme.

Lexicon Community Day

Had lots of visitors to Sandhurst Guide stall in Bracknell and the mayor came over and we had a long chat with her, her husband started taking about being a Queen’s scout so then that provoked conversation about my Queen’s guide badge which they were fascinated with.

Had loads of photos taken by photographers for the paper, also BFC took pics to advertise the event and we were on their Instagram story.
We approached families who appeared to have little girls and gave them flyers. Quite a few girls with their families turned up in their rainbow/brownie uniforms so got a freebie and we asked what unit they were from.
All in all I would say it was good to promote Girlguiding.
